Queerly Beloved

Welcome to the queer nuptials of the year, where the party’s getting started and the guests getting lubricated. There’ll be the usual speeches, gossip and fascinators, only the end of the celebration will be far from predictable. What we do know is that one of the guests will be leaving without a pulse and another will be taking the short trip from our deliciously decadent wedding venue at the Old Swansea Library to Swansea Central Police Station.

With the help of a dedicated team of Queertawe participants, playwright Bethan Marlow has written a brand-new murder mystery. You are invited to participate and engage with this curious and queer fictional world to discover our murderer before they strike again. 

There are two ways for you to join us on this murder mystery. Either choose to be an ‘Interactive Player’ where you will be given some character details and play a role in the investigation. Or simply choose to be an ‘Observer’, come in your best wedding garb and enjoy watching the action from your seat.
